HAIR CARE FOR EVERY SEASON
We know that our clients' hair faces unique challenges in every season of the year. Adapting our recommendations and treatments to weather conditions not only helps maintain the health of the hair, but also allows us to offer a more personalized and effective service. In this article, we provide you with key guidelines so that you can guide your clients in every season, adjusting their care routines and proposing specific in-salon treatments that maximize the results.
Spring: Post-Winter Revitalization
Spring is the ideal time to repair the damage that winter may have caused to our clients' hair. After months of cold weather, hair is often dehydrated, dull and with split ends. Here, the focus should be on restoring hydration and repair.
Recommendations:
1. Deep hydration: Suggest intensive in-salon hydration treatments, such as Lan Treat Intensive Hydrating Treatment, as well as masks with nourishing oils or steam treatments to penetrate deeper into the hair fiber.
2. Split end trimming: This is the ideal time to recommend a trim that eliminates damaged ends and revitalizes hair.
3. DIY Care products: Advise your clients on the importance of using products with moisturizing ingredients to keep hair hydrated between visits.
Summer: Protection and Repair from Aggressors
Summer is one of the most aggressive times for hair. UV rays, chlorine from pools, and saltwater from the sea affect the texture, color, and health of the hair. In this season, it is crucial to educate clients on protection and restoration.
Recommendations:
1. UV Protection: Offer products in the salon with UV filters and educate clients on the importance of protecting their hair from the sun. A light spray, such as the Biphasic Nutritive Detangler will act as an excellent hair sunscreen.
2. Post-summer treatments: Deep repair treatments, such as Lan Treat Intensive Repair Treatment will help rebuild the hair after exposure to the sun, chlorine and salt.
3. Anti-frizz services: With the increase in humidity, frizz becomes a common problem. Restore or anti-frizzing treatments that seal the cuticle are ideal for keeping the hair controlled and smooth.
Fall: Nutrition and hair loss prevention
During fall, hair usually faces greater hair loss due to the hair renewal cycle, and the transition to colder climates tends to dehydrate it. This is the right time to reinforce nutrition and hair loss prevention.
Recommendations:
1. Post-summer repair: Provide services that help restore hair damaged during the hot months, such as Lanplex o Botox hair treatments, which in addition to nourishing, seal the cuticle and provide shine.
2. Stimulation of hair growth: If you notice that your clients are experiencing increased hair loss, you can recommend specific ampoules or treatments such as the one offered by Lan Therapy Anti-Hair Loss Hair Strengthening Therapy .
3. Hydration and nutrition: Products rich in oils will help nourish the hair inside out, keeping it soft and resistant to breakage.
Winter: Protection and dryness management
Winter brings with it extreme temperatures and dry environments due to heating, which can cause your clients' hair to become dull, brittle and prone to have a static hair.
Recommendations:
1. Deep hydration treatments: During this season, treatments or the use of hydrating ampoules such as Hyaluronic Shock 2 , are essential to keep hair hydrated.
2. Recommend less frequently: To protect hair from winter dryness, advise your clients not to wash their hair too often and to use gentle products, such as hydrating shampoos and conditioners.
3. Scalp massages: Promote scalp health by offering in-salon massages with essential oils that not only moisturize, but also stimulate circulation, helping to combat dryness and improving product absorption.
Take advantage of the opportunities that each season offers to make your salon stand out and offer effective and personalized haircare solutions!
